The Series 200A Sand-Carved®
process is made from a hard phenolic
ES/MP plastic laminate. This process
is the method of choice for producing
tactile and braille characters: the
laminate is sand-blasted, removing
background material, and raising the
characters to 1/32˝. The braille and
copy characters remain an intrinsic part
of the sign and cannot be removed.
Other materials available include
fiberglass, hardwoods, marble, slate,
granite and other man-made materials. |
